Hardy dither fish for Salvini?

Just wondering if there is any good hardy dither fish that can keep and maintain the attention of my male Salvini for more than a day or 2? I just transferred some of my fish into their own tanks for breeding and within 1 day the male Salvini had just about destroyed the female which I have since moved in with some Silver Dollars. Which is funny as they'd just spawned so figured this would have been the case in the lead up rather than after. But anyway once she has recovered I'm gonna redo the tank with a bucketload more pots and stuff but want a fish to take the heat off her. Any help much appreciated.

Hello Bryce,

What I used to use was an Archer fish, worked really well. Also try & add a couple of caves the female can get into & the male can't.

Mate thanks heaps. I'm gonna be adding a bucketload more pots and stuff when I whack the female back in which should help out a fair bit but will pick up an archer fish and see how that goes as well. Thanks again.
