ive got some juvinile calvus and dont know much about how they
eed but i heard they
eed in shells anyway. if i were to put a shell in the tank would they even take anyinterest in it do u think, like do they swim in to it or just when there ready to
eed. they should only be a few months off
eeding age. cheers
rad

barnacles are the only way to go as far as i am concerned.

>Usually altos dont start to
eed until they are 2 years old. I have seen some cases where they were about 1 1/2 years. The best way to raise multiple altos is to have the tank bare, apart from substarct. One will want shell & defend it with all its might. Plus if a smaller one goes into the shell, it could be forced up in the shell & get stuck.  <

>Shells are good for
eeding, shell has to big enough for the female to get into, but to small for the male. Barnacles are great for
eeding too.<

>Do a search on google, there are a few good sites with information.<
