I found some pictures of a local market in the Amazon region.
I almost cried at some of the pics.

Yeah some nice marine species in Queensland that are common on the dinner plate. Coral Trout and bi-colour Parrot fish comes to mind. Beautiful fish, but people eat it.

It's funny the fish that some "locals" will eat. Been to a couple of countries where the biggest fish will be throw back for smaller fish that we'd use as live bait as they prefer the small 1's for some reason.

A few years ago we bought what I think was a huge Snapper from a local, well it looked like 1 but I'm no fisherman so couldn't tell you exactly. All it cost us was a packet of chocolate. He even cooked if for us when he'd finished netting his catch.
Cheers,
Bryce.

I have a thai mate and they catch clown loaches sun dry them and eat them as a kind of candy also the gourami the big suckers they use pig dung to catch them.  But fighters are highly prized and earn a lot of money for them especially in fights.
don't just want to breed good fish I want to breed WOW fish.

FISHKEEPING IS MORE THAN A HOBBY IT IS A DISEASE MAN!!
