Hi guys,
took a few pics of my tank today and put them into a web page. Please let me know what you think!

also if anyone can id the male with the red body and blue face in the first pic, that would be great. he doesn't normally look like that, but the camera made him quite bright. he's normally very dark and the head looks almost black.

The background was originally purchased from AOA, it was a browny colour when I got it. I then painted it with a mixture of white and black pond sealant.  I just mixed the colours to various shades of grey and blotched it on with a sponge. each coat was a different shade of grey/black and I just blotched it on to highlight certain areas etc. unfortunately it did not stick to the siliconed bit, so you can see it appearing as a green blob (it was dyed by melafix).

I have changed the web page to include all my photos of the tank now. please take another look.

Nice Elec Blue there. Cape Mclear I think, with the white blaze and yellow anal fin and which is no longer exported from the Lake I believe. Common here in Oz but rare in Nth America were their specimens are more from populations further north in Lake Malawi and have no white blaze at all and a red anal fin instead. (just for interest).
