Fish i.d. please.....

hi all,

recently bought a fish from a private seller and they did not know what it was . I know think it may be a kingseizei but am not sure any help would be kindly appreceited

These r king sizie but with a flash the girl up top looks close to yours
might be a cobolt blue Zeb

following roo id say yes that is a coalt blue on some hardcore steroids (colour that is)

thanks so far guys.......
we have cobalt blues in another tank, and this fish is definitely different
the yellow edges on the dorsal and tail , plus the rounded head seems to indicate something other than a cobalt blue  
i'll grab a couple more piccies.......

Its not a cobalt or a kingseizi.
Its a pretty fish so keep it as a display but wouldn't introduce to any breeding colony as I would think its crossbred.

Looks to me like Metriaclima greshakei,  http://www.malawicichlidhomepage.com/aquarium/mbuna_greshakei.html

If it is it would be a male. The one's i used to have the males blue went almost white when excited.

Could you post another picture of the fish side on?

I agree it looks like a Metriaclima greshakei, but it loOks' to have a deformed head? I think it may just be the angle the picture was taken on but...

Ice blue is one of the common names for Maylandia greshakei  Zac.  :lol:
