i am assuming these are the same age as the ones i picked up around auction time...

since having them home i have had around 5 mouthfuls but none have held longer than a day   ..
except the last one... its day number 2 today and she still has the eggs :!:

i have a nice video i taped of these guys spawing... the male shows nice colour when he is doing the deed

I originally had them in a 2ft on their own but have moved them into a 4ft with my electric yellows and electric blues.  There is also a little male orangeback in there. I just recently cut down on the rock in that tank as the yellows spent all the time hiding.

Boohoo!!  They aren't holding anymore  :(

On a positive note though I was just watching my electric blues spawning  :D

Everything was going well except for them fighting off the crimsons who managed to gobble up some eggs :?

[emiee]

nevermind Muttley...they are only very young still...

my little girl is still holding which makes it day 3... could this mouthful be the one that she holds :?:  :?:

[Muttley]

Fingers crossed for you  :D

[neilm]

Hey,

Is the female E. blue holding this morning?

[Muttley]

Bugger! Shes not carrying.  The harassment may have been to much.  Might swap the crimsons over with the hongis  :?
