Classifieds, Including Live Stock

3 Prefixes FS/WTB/EOI: followed by an informative description.

[b:b4c5279ff5]For Example[/b:b4c5279ff5]
EOI: Breeding colong of 7 bar frontosa -1M 3F. All 20cm+ (Say ~ $400)
FS: Hongi fry (40) ~5cm. Lots of 10 only. $35.
WTB: 4*15*18 tanks (for growout).

Now if you fail to abide by this your post is warned, then removed.

In addition I'd like to see if in the post the price is "make an offer" etc - a ballpark figure should be given ie.

Also the new "useless post" rule. You know what I mean, PM Sent, Email Sent, bump etc these will not be aloud. If your asking questions that may benefit everyone i.e. Glass thickness, M/F ratio, can you sex them etc. ask it publically. As for bumping give it a week (7 days), and if still no bites, bump it, just not every 2nd day. And if you're having to bump again, perhaps consider a price change/market investigation.

And where you can post up pictures and scientific names, these help people who are buying find more information about them easily, so as it will not yet be a fulltime rule, will make common sense if you want to sell it. But its up for debate on permanent or not.

And a huge thank you to Mitch whos ideas i have stolen along with his post and have now copyrighted.

Cheers,

Maybe a fourth prefix should be added FREE:

Also, another example, just to cover those who like to sell a few species in one hit.

FS: Various (Malawians). Haps and mbuna fry.

I don't think these should be rules, more guidlines. The topics don't need to be perfect or exactly as the examples given, just as long as some sort of effort (15 seconds thought) has gone into it. Hopefully sellers will see that this will help to sell their goods easier while benefiting buyers. This is a win-win situation if you ask me.

It must be noted, that a vast majority of people currently using the classified system follow a similar convention as Grum has afore mentioned and have been for some time. I would like to thank them and hope they continue to lead by example.

Ok we have been quite loose on these rules, but its hasnt seemed to help anyone, please everyone read these and tidy your posts up, you have a month to get them in order or I will begin to instruct the mods to either tidy them up if you tried, or just remove them if they are completely ignoring the rules.

This isnt for anyone but the members as it makes it really easy to read, If you have multiple fish to sell so be it, but at least give a decent description, "Fish for Sale" is not decent.

Nuff Said.
