Hi guys. Just thought I'd share some pics of my 6' tank. I bought it cheaply quite some time ago. It still has some scratches on the glass, which I can't do much about, but the stand and the hood have been a labour of love to get looking presentable. So, anyway, this was it when first bought:

And when it was first set up:

And what it looks like today:

Wow - what a transformation - looks fantastic ... what are the blue fish you have in there - Pindani?
It was no doubt, not just a labour of love - but very self rewarding to create such a beautiful tank.  Did you make the fake rock background - or buy it like that - looks good !!

Thanks for the kind words guys. Equal parts of a lot of swearing and a lot of sweat to get it to what it is!  That background is just your normal everyday paper background that you get from your lfs. It looks almost 3D because I covered the paper with vegetable oil (thanks Savage Roo).

Which blue fish! There are two blue dolphins, two electric blues, a lithobate, two salousi and two of the biggest msuli point acei's that you will see. Theres a fair bit of blue going on in there!

What can I say, blue's my favourite colour!
