Recently the Qld Cichlid Forum was subjected to a malicious attack by a hack and was temporarily taken offline.  We are working closely with the appropriate authorities who have assured us that they will locate and prosecute the perp responsible.

It would appear that member's email address lists have been copied unlawfully and may be used to coerce members to other sites. If you receive any spam or unwanted email please advise us.  We will include this information in our report to the authorities.  Spamming address lists is a serious offence and is an invasion of your privacy.

The team at Qld Cichlids are working on many long overdue improvements which will include added security, increased level of web hosting, changes to layout and with improved member features etc etc, the list goes on.

The Qld Cichlid Forum is one of the longest standing Aquarium related sites in Australia and will continue to provide a wealth of information, knowledge and enjoyment to hobbyists within Australia and around the globe.

We thank all members for their continued support and look forward to any suggestions that you would like to share with us.  Your suggestions and ideas will aid in improving our site for the benefit of all.

Yeah i know what you mean. Ive lost all my private messages, and i was selling fish. I cant recall the members names, so its all lost now. BUGGER!!!

We are looking into all of these issues, may take some time to restore.....

In the meantime you are all welcome to post up asking for the other members to make contact with you......
