:(  Good Grief !

Is it really that important ????????

Even my 'Joining date' is years out !!!

Alan thought you of all people being a long time member here would see the significance of it  :?

Because we don't have access to the ezbodge database, all the information is gleaned by physically reading the html of *every* ezbodge forum page and converting that into usefull information.

The script takes the date of each users earliest post and makes that the 'join date'. It counts how many posts it can see by each user and makes that their post count.

Normally, this would work out fine except for the evil ezbodge fingers in the pie. When they *misplaced* about 35,000 posts recently it has effected the results of the script scanning the forum for data.

So the join date you have now, is the date of the first post LEFT after ezbodge furked it all up and the post count is the number of posts you had left after the carnage.

This is also why, some people have asked to have their accounts activated but have got "Unknown User" responses. They hadn't posted since ezyboard lost all the data.

Not aimed at anyone in particular, but post count doesnt mean much really, it just says you can type. Join date would mean more but thats not accurate thanks to ezbodge. I have a seen some boards (one fish board in particular comes to mind) where members have been active for a month or 3 and had one to two thousand posts. The people who use the board often either posting or lurking get to know wether your full of it not and dont depend on your post count IMHO, its kinda like dare i say it "post count envy"

KW13: Didn't you know??? your post count is directly proportional to the size of your winky!!!
