right click the red crossy thing and choose properties
you can see why it's not working from the address

ok people

im no puter whiz and I got the avatar thingy sussed
#1 select a avatar and download into your pc into an images file or whatever

#2 join a picture hosting website: theres a link to one below

#3 use 'browse' in there website to find your image on your pc

#4 upload image from your machine to there website and they will give you a 'URL' for the location of that image

#5 right click and copy that URL into appropiate section in "your account"

#6 .........VOILA!

you dont need to go through all that ashh, just use the direct link for the pic wherever you found it and put that address in for your avatar.
you can right click on the pic and go to property and the address is in there.

oh and how did you get back in here LOL

asc, i think you'd better try a diff photo host, i don't think that one allows you to hotlink, well i cut and paste the url, and it didn't work.
