Title: how many bn pairs in a 3x18x18
Post by: nemo1981 on June 17, 2005, 11:24:00 PM
yeh, i currently got 2 pairs in a 3x18x18 plenty of caves/logs/driftwood hideyspots etc, i have another pair in a tank that doesn''t do them justice, reckon i''d be right to put all 3 pairs together in the 3 foot?<
><
>should be right i reckon, i''ve seen more pairs in smaller tanks, but thought i''d ask a second opinion. Steven & Amy<

Well you know all about mine steve had 3m 4f all good sizes tried all sorts of tanks, 3 foot 4 foot seperate etc. So i thought stuff it ill chuck them in a 2x15x15 and leave em for a bit, the next day 2 lots of eggs and in 3 months moved them all and had 900-1000 fry. HTH

As long as they all have a cave \ tube per female they seem to do ok, I have 50 plus Females with 20 or so males in a 6 x 2 x 2 and are all doing very well.<
