Title: Saratoga Leichardti/Jardini (pics)
Post by: Rex on August 25, 2005, 04:00:45 PM
Anyone own a Saratoga Leichardti or Jardini?  Would love to see your pics.  Here is mine, I've had him for about 3 months (bought from Annerley Aquarium) and he likes all kinds of foods (hikari pellets, shrimp, bloodworms, crickets).  As you can see he is a beautiful fish:

Its a 4x2x2 running an Eheim 2217 Canister and an internal Mozoo powerhead. Tankmates are a 30cm Pleco (can be seen in the bottom left on the rock wall), a 15cm Tiger Oscar, 5 Clown Loaches, 3 small bristlenose and 1 electric yellow (lol - cant believe he has not been eaten yet).

Thanks guys.  It didn't eat pellets when I first got it, but I think maybe he learnt to eat pellets by watching the oscar do it.  It took about 2-3 weeks for him to start eating them without spitting them out.
