Title: question on adding new fry?
Post by: emiee on August 26, 2005, 02:10:28 PM
just wondering what is my best option

i have fry which are 4-6 weeks old from e yellows, acei, johanni, lombardoi and sunshine peacocks all in seperate small tanks atm. i now have new fry from some of the above so there is a little size difference.

question is - should i add new fry to the old fry of the same species or should i combine species regarding there age/size :?:

thanks in advance  :)

i have added new fry of the same species to some of the same that are a bit older, and have had no problems so far.

I had some juli ornatus in with electric blues and the blues knocked them off... they were fed 3 times a day, everything was perfect etc etc. I think possibly it depends on the size of the tanks you've got them in, I had these guys in a 25L tank and there was about 30+
