get the steel stand first. on my stands i have adjustable feet to accomadate any uneven surfaces.

my wooden enclosing is all screwed on. the top skirt around the base of the tank is removable so if i have to i can remove the tank. the bottom skirt is also removable so i can get top the feet, and because my sump is on a trolly and can be rolled out for any maintenance.

it takes a bit of work , but will be worth it when i eventiually finish it.

when finished it will be stained heritage teak, with dark bronze type hinges and knobs, doors will be woden with smoked glass inserts.

Racadio,
I know a guy who can help you out. Cheap too.
If you are interested just send me an email or pm with your number and I will give you a call.
He can make ianything you want. You tell him what features you want in or on it and there you go. He can even stain or varnish it for you all ready to go.
Thanks
