If they are in a big tank, should be good!

there is always a risk when puttin 2 giant gourami's 2gether, however if u can try and distract the from each other by using dither fish and large pieces of decoration that will breakup the gourami's line of sight it MIGHT be ok. If u do try and put the 2 gourami's 2gether watch them carefully for the first week or so, if they end up fighting, u could try seperating them by dividing the aquarium in 2, using egg crates or glass so that the gourami's can see each other but can't hurt each other. After they stop flarin at each other or no longer show signs of aggression whenever they see the other gourami, u can remove the dividor and see if they can get along together. Hope this helps.

IT works better if u start with smaller gourami's.

With these things its a case of trail and error.

You never know until you give it a go.

My first thought would be is that you might have problems, but there is always exceptions.
