Hey, can anyone give me an age range or size range where you will be able to distinguish males from females? I'm fairly new to the hobby, and I've got a whole heap of them I'm looking to sell ones they are of size and showing some colour.

well at about 5 to 6 cm the dom males will start to colour up but in a tank of say 50 you might only get two or three that will colour. if you were to take them out after you know that their males the next lot of dom males will start to colour up.
in a colony of say 10 to 12 fish if you were to have say three or four males and the rest fems one male will colour right up , so will the other males but not to the extent of the dom male.
