Title: Stupen question time again
Post by: Savage_roo on October 05, 2005, 04:17:56 PM
I was l thinking with a few moderations could you run your trickel feeder throught 1 of those evourative air coolers
I thought it might make a good water chiller
But I'm a bit woried the it might put a few bugs in my tanks
and a nother thought if you want it colder you could make up a basket think to hold ice with a drip tray under it that hooks to the back as well
Well it was just a thought lol

dont bother wasting your time or your money, I have tryed similar style coolers that you are describing, and you are far better of buying something that does that job it is built to do:
ie. an aquarium chiller,
or an airconditioner that will keep BOTH you [i:290d719e61]and[/i:290d719e61] your fishies cool

I have one room that gets hot(good for winter) that has 2-4 footers in it.
All I do is get rid of lids, replace with mess & run a fan over the top of the tanks. Works well.
