G'day Luke,

Well champ, combining yellows and hongi is something i would not do myself, either is ok with electric blues but as both hongi and yellows are labidochromis, you are asking for trouble if keeping them together. While no where near as savage as say keeping varieties of melanochromis together, i just reckon you are safer to keep them apart champ.

Cheers,

Andrew.

Hey mate
Iv got all three of those fish together in one of my display tanks and there has never been a drama!
All three are male and they seem to hold their own pretty good.
So i cant see why not.

theres a high chance hongi's and e yellows will interbreed, if you have colonies, don't risk it.

There is only a problem if you want to sell/give away fry

Mutts are bad for all of us. If you only want for display/grow out go for it.

Just seperate the Hongi and Yellows if you're going to breed them
