I thought the ref''n was sh!t, touch judges dont look for forward passes anymore?<
><
>at least with rugby they get in a ref from another country. I think that with the high profile of it there should be an english ref
ought in.<
><
>and thats without saying who i support.

> Quote:Bad luck Maroons   They were thrashed, no bad luck in that. As soon as they couldn''t score in the first 10 minutes that was it.   <
>Wheres Stevey(Cosmo)???   your a bit quiet today.  <
><
>Quote:english ref
ought in. No thanks,   That is sometimes the problems with union, the Northern Refs like to be a part of the game rather than just ref it.  <

OMG and here I was thinking that at least the Queenslanders can''t use the ref as an excuse this time  <
><
>The blues were a far superior team on the night, it doesn''t hurt that much to say it does it?   <

Im not a queenslander, im actually a rugby person, and observing the game with no biase. I was actually just trying get everyone''s opinion on it, Not blame anyone, but i guess pride gets in the way when it comes to talking about the game. I was just frustrated watching the decissions against both team''s regardless of who won.<
><
>And yes i do think that nsw played better rugby league.

>I remember mates of mine saying they didn''t like union(the game played in heaven & go the mighty "AB''s"  ) because of the way union boys got away with forward passes. Look at league now.   <
>The style of play with flat passes & the game being so quick dosen''t make it easy. The ref is at a bad angle too call passes   which leads me to how good are the touchies??   <
><
>Union has the answer(improvement) to that by having quality refs running the side lines in big games.  <
><
>God knows I wouldn''t want to be a Ref.  <

An umpire went to heaven. On arriving at the Pearly Gates, St. Peter asked him if he had done anything wrong in his life. He replied that he was umpiring a game between Richmond and Carlton at the MCG. With just a few minutes to go, and with Richmond 104-102 up, he gave a free kick to Carlton in front of the Richmond Members Stand. ''But'', he said, ''it wasn''t really a free kick''. St Peter said to him, ''when was this?''. The umpire looked down at his watch and said ''about 35 seconds ago''. <

well im a qlder thru and thru but they played crap lastnight!!!<
><
>you cant blaim the ref on that!!<
><
>and as for getting a ref from a diff nationallity??<
>i think as long as bnoth teams agree to the 1 ref it should be ok.   well they use that ruling when someones life is at stake(as jury members for court...both sides pick the jury they want) 1 out of 4 people have a mental dissability!<
>think of your 3 best mates if there fine..... IT MUST BE YOU!!!
