Title: Yellow capped ventralis? pics added, gold comp too.
Post by: davez104 on November 04, 2005, 03:11:36 PM
Hi all,
Just bought a male ventralis labeled as yellow capped or yellow crested ventralis( he was only 10 bucks so couldn't resist! Along with a 10cm gold comp for another $10!) Just wondering if anyone would know another name for this fish, ie location, so I can find him some girlfriends. He is light blue all over apart from a patch of yellow on the top of his head, as the name would suggest. Andrew (fishtraderlau) lives just down the road and is a ventralis freak so there is a fair chance he will be able to help me, when he gets back from touring Europe. Any ideas?

crongrates Dave on Your buy of the year.

yelow hmm... orange cap ventralis with a blue (sky blue?)body sounds like a kambwimba, very nice. Andrew has some of these i beleive..! but most ventralis can display a lighter, yelow/orang/green cap on there heads, my samazi have a green cap..]
