Title: Water storage Q's
Post by: ashhhh on November 07, 2005, 06:29:18 PM
ok, i have a 200L drum I will be filling and using for water changes on my tanks and need some advice,
when I do my partial water changes I will not be using all the water from the drum, maybe only 1/2 and I will just top up what I have taken from the drum. What will be better to stop the water from going 'stale' whilst its being stored between tank water changes.....airation or a powerhead...?

any advice muchly appreciated, thanks guys :D

ps. it will be in a shady spot under the patio, so no sun will get to it

just drop an airstone in the bottom to keep the water circulating.

the more airation will also help get rid of the chlorine..
