I would just like to thank Underwater World on the Sunshine Coast.
Just lately my display Barramundi has been getting alittle small for my 10ft tank and I rang them up to see if it was possible to move him along to a better home.
They agreed and we drove him up there on Sunday, and it was great to see the new tank he was going into.
Just a small upgrade going from my tank around the 1700 ltr mark to a 180,000 ltr billabong. His new tank mates are a small freshwater crocodile(im told very well fed doesnt like to chase his food lol) around 25 other barras between the 50cm to 1mtr range, a freshwater sawfish and a nice mangrove jack.
We were shown all around the park and shown some amazing things.
Like just born sharks, stingrays and turtles. Also we were taken above the 2.5 million ltr shark tank, so insteand of looking up through the tunnel we were looking into this tank. Now this is a tank id love to have lots of nice size sharks including the 6ft whaler that decided we were alittle close and came out of the water about 30cm from us, made sure we kept hands and arms in after that lol
If anyone hasnt been there and gets the chance go for it
One of the exotic tanks as they called at had 2 redtail cats around the 3ft mark heaps of devils and jags giant gouramis

Yep refreshing post Winnie, but Steve isn't capable of that. :lol: It was Brad that put the post up. Steve vacated Aqua Alive a few months ago now & the shop hasn't looked so good. 8)
