I tried that style of trap to try and catch a mantis shrimp,   (a nasty marine inverta
ate) in my marine setup, but my snowflake morey kept sticking his head in and taking the bait cause he was so long and thin, he only had to poke his head in! I ended up taking each piece of live rock and putting it on one side of the tank, bit by bit , each piece a week at a time, by itself behind some eggcrated section of the tank. It worked and I got it.Persistance payed of in the end........  Cheers<

Cool trap ain''t it. When I was a kid I used this type of trap to catch the (noxious) rainbow swordtails in creeks around North Side of Bris. Simple and effective for fast swimming fish.
