Thanks guys, managed to get down and visit a few of the shops on Monday.

Luke and Brad - Great to meet you, thanks for the chat  :D Really nice shop you've got going there, love the HUGE tanks (if only one would fit in my unit.....).
Hope you got all those tanks cleaned out Luke

I also visited Nerang Pet Barn (nice birds, good clean tanks and fair range), Q Aquarium (lots of tanks, cheap Fronties and plenty of Malawians).

They also had a tank, out the back, full of 'L168'. Thing that impressed me about them was their huge size. If you want adults this is the place to go! The bloke I chatted to was talking 'couple of hundred $' so I didnt even ask the actual price (that and because I have just managed to secure some L104s  :P  ).

Visited Aquarium Warehouse (thanks Wayne) - soooo many tanks, mostly bread and butter types though. Cheap Peps and Ospots, great range of discus. Also some nice Moliros.

The last place I dropped by into was Beenleigh Aquarium - one of my favourites. Not many tanks, not large, not the cheapest but they do have a good range of tangs.

All in all, apart from meeting some people, it wasnt a successful day for me - didnt buy anything (some would say that's good...) and I didnt find the film scanner that I was hoping to.

Anyways, Im sure I probably missed some great shops and the chance to catch up with some of you. Can anyone suggest other LFS' to visit next time and any bird places that you're aware of.

Cheers and beers
Steve
