Can anyone tell me where the cheapest place in Brisbane is to get Melafix.
age of aquariums
pond care melafix from AOA just know your dosage rates as it is strong

Hope this chart helps tells dosage rates for using pond mela fix in tanks etc. Or you could pick up some 100% pure tea tree oil and make your own melafake - diluting down to 1% for standard use melafake

Yep Ben at AOA is definitely the cheapest. Makes me kinda mad with the other dealers out there when you compare the price.

Be careful with that though! There are surfactants in melafix, there isn't in pure ti tree oil. I have tried that and suffocated fish when the oil sits on top of the water. Think oil slick.

think about the overheads a shop lfs has, like feeding fish, dying fish, electricity to run tanks, lights, filters, etc etc etc.
ben can sell his products cheap because he doesnt have these overheads.
this is not a shot at ben, just to let you know other lfs's arent just trying to rip you off, they are trying to put food on the table

Not to mention the cost of having heaps of staff, Ben practically runs the place by himself (I've only ever seen one other person working there).
thats another thing too.
ben does do a good job and is great with his prices.
but thats why he can afford to be cheap
Yep, AOA is the cheapest around. Smart thinking aye, dry goods only, don't have to put up with the fish.....
