Thanks heaps. Oh and also how big will it grow eventually? Is it very hardy?
in the right conditions and a big enough tank it will get to 65/70cm and the bigger the fish the hardier they are.<
>up to 10cm is the problem time.<

Big tandanus work well too.<
>They seem alright with all sorts of stuff when young really it''s just they snap and kill it everynow and again.<
>For filtration a nice fat cannister and 2000LPH powerhead (yep ya get used to putting your hand into clean it) isn''t a bad combo and lets you feed heavily. This forum put me onto pilchards for food but I can report that they like live crabs too. They really like them.<

>2 Melafix, I got nothing to back this up really but jacks don''t seem to like the stuff at all. So if you use it, don''t over dose it.<
>3 Stuff, things like bits of plastic plants, rubber bands and all sorts other crap will be eaten if they get a chance. Doesn''t always do them any good either.<
>4 Tank lid ramming, some seem to go bugs crawling over the glass lids and smash-a-gus your lids. <
