Keep using the protozin as per directions and it should clear up in a few days. I posted a link a few weeks ago to a very good article on white spot on an American site. Use the link below to have a read :<

no no and no.<
><
>You cannot get rid of white spot in a ''few'' days.  As soon as the white spots fall off, they reproduce to make more parasites, reinfecting your fish, you need to treat your fish constantly for at least a week, preferably 10 days. I know its a pain in the ass but if you dont get the cycle at the right stages, you wont get rid of it. Even when the temperature is at 30 degrees the life cycle can last for longer than expected, despite what many articals say. <
><
>White spot is very easy to treat, and you should never lose ANY fish to it. The key is maintaining whichever treatment you choose, for at least a week or 10 days. <
><
>Seeing the white spots fall off does NOT mean the disease is dead, it is only incubating for another cycle.

yes...turning the heat up is a good idea but it doesnt make the ich drop off,  it speeds up the life cycle. So in-turn making the time to kill it quicker.<
><
>as oldmatebobo said keep treating for a week or more, no remedy can kill the parasite while it is on the fish, so you want to turn the heat up to get them off the fish quicker, thats when you can kill them so keep up the treatment so you can kill the new ones hatching out of the gravel.<

You can kill it with heat alone, I''ve done it successfully a few times now. But if you have use something with formulin (formaldehyde) in it I''d be hesitant to increase heat on the tank. Then again I''d be hesitant to put that junk in my tank in the 1st place.

<
>Yep 32 degres is good advice,   Did anyone ask what fish he has? If there are tangy''s in the tank the high temp may kill them too. If there are catfish, 1/2 dose is required.  <
><
>Also the best thing to do is find out what the cause is. If your water is cold or dirty(nitrites, ammonia) treating the fish alone isn''t going to do much.<

Cheers again,<
><
>As for the tank it''s just a 4'' comminuty tank.  Half a dozen
istlenoses, some neon tetras, a couple of bettas, dwarf gourami, clown loach nothing too exotic.  Was running at around 26 degrees so shouldn''t be too cold.  I suspect it came in with the last lot of fish from the LFS?

istlenoses, neon tetras, bettas, clown loaches should be all dosed at 1/2 rates. Treat as stated above, week to 10 days. A guide is to usually dose once more after you can''t see white spots no more. 1/3 water change before each dose.<
><
>Oh also, if you increase your heat, make sure you have plenty of airation. <
