>Sounds suspiciously like two females spawning together if both are in fact laying eggs.
well we''ll find out when they turn out to be furtile or not. i
ought them as a trio (1m, 2f) and as far as i could remember the owner had got plenty of fry from them. the male definetly looks and acts like a male and is the biggest and most dominant peacock in the tank, while the female definetly looks like a female. i have pick of both the male and the female as well as some of them spawning just give me a good hosting site and i can post them up here. and AvJonny you did have fry from them right? it was the two largest eurekas that spawned the largest being the male the second largest being female im sure you''ll swear that the male is actually male. anyway feel free to tell us what you think. <

ok as i said they were both definetly laying eggs, with the male? laying the majority of them, i made sure of it i saw it happen more than once and it definetly happened, between them they laid enough for the female to not be able to fit a single egg in her mouth, enough for the male to have a good feed and enough to create the fattest vanestus ive ever seen. ive had these fish for a few weeks and they were
ought as a
eeding colony, ive never feed white crane i feed hbh spirulna soft n moist, hbh krill soft n most tropical flake as well as live fish and shrimp, i have
eed saulosi, aratus, trewease, sunshine peacocks, and now eureka reds off the same diet.
and this whole time its been happening with my fish i didnt say anything cause i thought you would all think im crazy!!! LOL<
><
>well....um...yes....i am leaving now....(giggles as i walk to the door hehe) 1 out of 4 people have a mental dissability!<
>think of your 3 best mates if there fine..... IT MUST BE YOU!!!Edited by: cosmotiger1 at: 1/8/05 14:13<

haha well you can see how hard ive been tryin to convince you guys im not crazy, i swear its my fish that are the crazy ones
just to let you''se know the eggs didnt hatch so they must both be females with one that thinks its a male
Sounds like White Crane could be the culprit - made one of your females look like a male. I've heard White Crane can even bring out egg spots on a female. All those hormones will do anything.
the thing i dont get is you said they bred for AVJOHNNY??????
