Title: tank divider
Post by: ashhhh on February 18, 2006, 04:24:20 PM
does anyone else use flywire (fibreglass not metal of course) for dividing tanks...?
I wanna keep the fry in the same tank and have plenty of eggcrate, and was thinking of sandwiching a piece of flywire between two pieces of eggcrate so as to keep the fry from the adults...

does anyone know where to get some fine nylon netting from?

Yes i use fly wire as a divider. I have acrylic sheets with a big hole in them, which i have siliconed the fly wire covering the hole. It allows water to flow through and even waste, so there is no need for multiple filters. Have had no problems with it.
