Title: Cichlid tolerant plants (Malawi)
Post by: caryb on March 12, 2006, 10:47:12 PM
Has anyone had success with growing Cichlid tolerant plants. I read on the Sydney Cichlid forum that some of the folks have planted tanks. I would be interested in what local plants would be suitable for my application.

Thanks in advance, Cary

Java Fern goes good. Too tough to be eaten by Africans cichlids, and doesn't need to be planted - just tied to a rock or log with some fishing line - so no need to worry about the fish digging them up.
