I'm not too sure on the forum culture around here or anything so I wasn't sure if this was an OK place to post this or not - I'm sure a mod will shift it if need be. :oops: :lol: Also, do you flame noobs who do "intro" posts? Maybe that's just performance forums... :lol:
I live up in Townsville & usually post on ACE forum. I was enquiring about shipping fish from "down south" to try & get some quality unrelated stock to form a colony with those I've already got from a LFS.
I got talking to Doug (Dfishkeeper) via ACE who pointed me towards this forum & said I could ask about his character, so here I am doing just that. I've never shipped fish before so I'm a bit wary of being burnt, hence I'm after a bit of feedback on people's dealings with Doug - thus far he seems like a top bloke.
Now of course, only post in this thread if you have nice things to say about him, anything not so nice keep it to PM for the sake of the board! 8O

well everyone here has already said what i would say! dougs a champion who knows his fish, i have bought fish from him a few times and im sure i will a fair few more 8) i jus love lookin around at all the different species in his garage, he has more africans than most shops i have seen and real good quality too 8) you have nothing to worry about except for maybe trying to make room for all your new fish :wink:

Doug is a great bloke who would make sure you would never think he has ripped you off
I have dealt with him alot ovr the last 2 years and i havent had one bad experience nor i have heard a bad word about him said

execellent fish - you won't have any worries.
I've dealt with Doug a couple of times and I don't need to highlight what's already been said.
But above all else I've found him to be a genuinely nice bloke. So he'll bend over backwards to provide help, advice and service in your dealings with him.

Just to add my 10cents worth - I recently purchased some fish from Doug - who was more than helpful with information - and I believe I got a great deal - as has been said before - he tends to unsize his fish.
From my experience, I could happily recommend him - I know I will be back as soon as I get more tank space !!!!

I got my box of fish from Doug today & couldn't be happier with them.
Condition, size, colour etc all perfect! No losses or sick fish, everything is spot on. Wish I had more tank space, I would have gotten some more species from him!
Now I can join the long list of people praising him :lol: 8)
