Post by: on March 17, 2006, 07:07:52 PM
Hey all,

Im after some peices of glass or perspex 10mm or thicker, about 600x400. After at least two. Or a sheet that i can cut down, maybe someone with an old smashed 4x2 i can rescue.

Let me know.

Cheers,

some glasiers use 10mm as standard for shopfronts & might have 2nd hand bits cheap - have you rang a few of them or are you looking for cheaper still?

I'm curious about it too - plywood tank with one viewable side perhaps?

I want to build an above ground pond/tank hybrid with an ~8'x2.5' viewing panel one day, need perspex being outdoors & paranoid about mowing.

I have a 1.5 x 600 x 500 fibreglass tank, I want to put two viewing windows in the front of it, the reason for the two smaller peices is that there is a steel support through the middle, so im going to leave the middle support fibreglass.
