Title: Bristlenose and Clown Loachs
Post by: Borat on March 21, 2006, 10:20:32 PM
Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could share any experiences with putting Bristlenose catfish and Clown Loaches in a tank for Tanganyika cichlids. The tank doesn't have any cichlids yet (cycling) but i intend to keep leptosoma and cuckoo catfish.
pH 8.0, GH 60mg/L, KH 70mg/L

mate i have clown loaches and bristles in water with a PH of about 8 and they are fine.

The water actually has a high salt content too but they dont mind.

i had a small 3 foot tank not to long ago and it contained all sorts of fish and the clown loaches and bristle nose went just fine together... and to prove they were, the bristle nose even bred bout 100babies and are still non stop breeding... hope that helped. bye

You're more likely to have problems with the clown loaches & cuckoos fighting over any caves in the tank.
