Title: Cyclone in Innisfail
Post by: dammwoman on April 02, 2006, 11:43:10 PM
Found this quite incredible and a little amusing.
Bob was down in Innisfail today, says the damage is unbelieveable but went to visit a Pet Shop owner he knows to see how he fared up.
This guy breeds a lot of his own fish in a shed in his backyard. The roof caved in on the shed, some walls blew down but his tank stands remained standing. When he went to check the damage was amazed that the tanks held up but were totally full of branches, leaves and rubbish. Apparently full to overflowing but on cleaning all the debris out of the tanks and what remained of his shed found all his fish alive and well without a single fatality.
Cheers Linda

That is awsome, makes you wonder why fish die, seemingly for no reason when they can survive a cyclone.
