Hey everyone. My lombardoi has just had her first mouthful. This is my first lot of fry, so I'm going blind here. The fry are in a 2x1 tank, and I've removed the mother.......now what!!!
I've given them a feed of really finely crushed up flake. Anyone have any ideas on what the next several weeks are going to hold for me???
Also, how long will it be until the mature lombardoi breed again????

i'd recommend going to your lfs and getting some frozen brine shrimp blocks.
slice them up fine, depending on how many fry you have, and give them a slice of a block, see how far it goes.
might be handy to get some fry protein powder as well to supplement the brine shrimp.
try to feed them at least 2 times a day.
your fish will probably breed again in a couple of weeks all things well.

lombardi fry are pretty hardy. keep the food up to them and they'll grow quick. you can feed 'em as often as they are taking food, just allow too much uneaten stuff to build up. water changes increase growth rate too.
