>any ideas??? <
>thanks
Hey Dave,<
>Is it a large plec, like 25-30cm as they can get a bit sunken with old age.If its only a smaller one then it may be worms.<
>Rick.
yeh only bout 12cm <
>worms?
Larger plecos prefer protein over vegetable matter. Give him some cichlid pellets, a raw shelled prawn or small piece of fish fillet.
I you''s a feedding sive for my 40cm sailfin i put 2 to 3 cubs of blood worms in it and some crushed up algie disc''s every morning and she loves them and it did not take long for here to learn where to find the sive now when ever i walk past the tank she come''s flying up off the bottom stright to the sive.
For vege I have been using young zuccini and cucumber. They only have little seeds that you can scrape out. Less mess in tank. I put some in when ever I wonder where he is.<
>And prawns like above. <
>They go spastic for prawns..... and for me anyway they sometimes poach an earth worm. Not sure how good they are for them but seem to like.<
