Post by: silverarowana on May 30, 2006, 06:02:58 PM
hi,
I have one pair of E. yellow in the tank. I got 12 fry from first lot  and now are a bit bigger (about 2cms) then I have another luck she just got another 20 which I keep in seperate tank. Can I put all babies back in the tank with mum and dad. Do they going to eat their baby.? I have no other fish in the tank.

If the fry are small enough the parents WILL eat them.

I have never put my E. yellow fry back in with the adults until they are at least 2cms.  Havn't had any problems at that size.

If it can fit in their mouth, then it will end up in the mouth.

Frenchy :D

ps;Depends on tank set up, space...
