Hi all,
I tried downloading the screen savers and my anti virus software detected a virus in the download.  So be careful.

you can get free anti virus software @ www.vast.com

Eeeeek! Sorry everyone. I've got three anti-virus detection programs and I didn't scan a thing. Might try that vast.com

Thanks for the heads-up Dan.

Title: further update
Post by: neyund on June 15, 2006, 10:11:46 AM
After I deleted the suspect files, rebooted and rescanned, no virus was found and the screen saver was working lovely.  So if you have  good anti virus protection, it should clean it up.

Cheers,
dan

Cool. I used Lavasoft's Ad-Aware to do the same thing.

a lot of screensavers has tracking software tucked away in the installer, even ones from big companies like Hollywood film companies, you dont think they are going to give you something without getting something in return did you?
Yea I know, I'm cynical
