hey everyone, im soon to get a breeding pair of convicts and i am wondering wat is the best way to hatch brine shrimp so i can feed it to the baby convict fry.
hi i have convict fry and i have been feeding them crushed up flake food and thay have been fine, very good survival rate
yea to be honest, your best bet is just with crushed flake, convicts are not worth the money in my opinion, but if you are still keen on hatching them let us know.

well, my overall plan was to have to convicts as a live food supply for my future oscar....so when the convist have babies, i move them into my 2 foot tank and then grow them up a bit and then feed them to my oscar as a treat....but could be a while till i get a new tank+stand+and oscar....so ill just hang it out with your idea on crushed flake for them....but i didnt think that convicts would be so hard to find. ive looked in 3 fish stores and not one stocks them :( so ill just have to keep looking or just get another oscar and hope he doesnt die from heximia like my last one....

theres no harm in asking them to get some in.... they are that common that they shouldnt have any trouble getting them
put a WTB in the trader section, heaps of ppl on here have convicts.

if you are talking about the african convict i have a couple of young pairs.
oh thnx n e way gasnitro but for now im just gunna set up a tank to breed yellows for a while, then later one down the track ill set up a mixed cichlid tank.......thnx neways
