Title: Why wasn't Braith Player...
Post by: here fishie fishie on June 15, 2006, 07:31:31 AM
of the match :?:  He set up 2 tries for the qld, hardly made a tackle... :lol: The 2 roosters halves had a blinder, I bet even Gould couldn't talk them out of that one. Now lets see what happens here. Kimmorley throws one bad pass..... Braith couldn't hit the side of a barn with a tractor. :? & Finch has no troubles bulleting passing a ball into someone the size of a barn standing right next to him :x

Lucky enough to go to the game. Workplace sponsors the Doggies so got tickets.
Great atmosphere!!! the blues were soft, the ref was shit, I mean really shit. {what happened to calling forward passes & players inside the 10 metres}
 But the best team won, well thrashed them lol. 2 of the guys I went with left early 8O  :lol: couldn't handle it anymore :cry:
Then again, I am sure the idiot that painted Wally, added to the maroons fire. :roll: Nice idea to use oil based paint :idea:

Lockyer played well to, nice passing & running game. The maroons were fired up & there to play, well done.
One question, why did a side that should of won by 20, yet only win by 1 point. Not look at making any real changes :?:

Frenchy :D

Yeah should've use Alodine etch primer on Wally first and that would've screwed them  :lol:

Good to see QLD remembered you can win an Origin game by hard tackling. Especially good to see in the opening minutes the smallest bloke Berrigan chop down the biggest bloke Willie Mason faster than you can say "I've got Attention Deficit Syndrome" (or is that "I've got Big Man Syndrome"?)

I thoughts it was a brilliant game, ref calls where more than fair lol and the best team on the night one.

To be honest im pretty sure Qld threw the first game just for ticket sales and hype, its all politics to make more money, now they will come back and crush the blues in NSW, no wait, what happened here, oh we have moved a game between two states to a state that isnt involved in the game at all  :roll:

This coming from a bloke, who when I went to his place last year to watch a game, left himself after 15 mins beacause the blues had scored 2 tries. Steve did come back when it was 4 points difference, But somehow disappeared again when NSW scored a try again to extend the margain.  8O then came back & demanded we watch another channel. 8O  8O  8O
At least the 2 NSW supporters, mentioned above in our group stayed to 17mins to go. They left when another good call by the ref, a nsw knock, when replay showed a forced qld hand, led to another try.

But then again Steve, even the Qld supporters, agreed Clark was rubbish. Different live{at the game} to the TV. I like it when at the play of the ball, how Clark has to look around the defensive player to see the play the ball, umm excuse me ref, that means he is in front of you ah :idea:  ta da :lol: How can "To long a name to spell"get to nearly charge down a kick, when the back next to him couldn't get close :?:  easy  :idea:  He was only 5 metres in front :idea:  Don't worry Steve, NSW caught onto this around 30 mins in, so both teams were in each others pockets from then on. Clark is a home town ref, check his stats, it will prove that statement.
But as I stated earlier, the better side did win. Qld were way better a side on the night. NSW didn't adapt, aim up, whatever...weak as....be a better term.
League is a really simple game to ref compared to union & even soccer, but then again one of the top refs does look like Mr Bean, explains alot :lol:

Good to see you finally watched over 30 minutes of a game Steve; Must be first time in 3 years :wink:  Brad & me still laugh over the story above  :lol:  How does a bloke, born & raised in Grafton, support Qld :?:  :?:  :?: What the  :lol: That would be like me supporting the wallabies when they play the AB's 8O Nnnnooooooooooo  :!: :lol: {I will support Aussie playning anyone else, within reason}
Qld that hard up for supporters? :lol:
Bad enough they have a kiwi in the side, Thorn & Carrol still available to play too :?:  :lol: Any good spare PNG players still around too :lol:
