Good to see the filter okay. Trip was great saw a few fish in Rome and Germany, much dearer than on this forum I can assure you.
Hong Kong was the best for Fish, they've got a street just for fish, called Gold Fish Markets , they sell everything from Guppies to Giant Koi and Red Arrowana, one shop had a Saltwater Tank 6 metres long. The street runs for about a mile and there are shops on both sides.
I reckon old Kev must have got some of his ideas from there, its an unbelievable sight.

Welcome back Theo.

Isn't it funny how when fish geeks go away on holidays, they still find fish tanks to look at
The other half, "we fly 1/2 way around the world & you're looking at fish"

I've got to admit, I saw heaps of Aquarium shops around Europe and didnt go and have a look, simply because there are so many other things to look at over there.
But that Gold Fish market is another thing altogether, they've probably got more fish shops crammed in there than there are Aquarium Shops in the whole of Australia.
Even for all there overcrowding of fish, I found it very hard to see any sickly looking fish. Even with Discus they would have around 200 or more per tank.

that is one thing about china...its not just the people that are crowded, ive been there too, fish everywhere, streets and streets of shops, but yeah so many fish in the single tank, but all look fine with no deformities or disease...

I've got some photos, which I'll post up as soon as I get off my bum, I'm still a bit jetlagged at the moment, but I'll get them up as soon as possible.
I'll probably be looking for some fish as soon as I clean the system up a bit, i'ts full of algae at the moment. I'll have to get some of my bristlenose to do the job.
Its good to see all the familiar faces still around.
Theo
PS: Its good to see someone missed me, how are you doing Dan, selling plenty I trust
