What was that about 40 players for a team, that just means we have 40 players to choise from to win what..... 6 games in the session, out of ohh 6 games.
Bring on the world cup
And before you start with us changing the Haka, the Haka last game was the Kapa O Pango, which was done becuase of the hand bag ad, and is done against a side/enemy we do not respect nore acknowledge as rivals.
where the Ka Mate is the traditonal Haka for an enemy that you respect as competition and are willing to fight.
Just wanted to clear that up as im sure you all read the propoganda.
Thats right Gummy bear we have never used the Kapa O Pango against Aussie before 3 weeks ago. I thought the hand bag haka add was funny, so what do the Aussies have then skirts???
For a big bunch of well built warriors, the maoris are a pretty sensitive bunch  can't poke fun at their heritage, believes, we even have to call places maori names, the national athem has a verse now in Maori, & the aussies want to poke fun at one of their dances 8O silly people.
Gummy the aussies can always put this mug in their trophie room{roflmao}

Oh, just for the Aussies. I will put up another photo of the trophy they won't see for a while.

ps; The ref was F...... S..., both ways. How he can miss knock ons, right in front of him, yet call a player off side when he is on the other side of the ruck F... me. Funny to hear me yell at the ref when NZ got a dodgy penalty, then to here the commentators yell at the ref when Aussie got a dodgy penalty. Like really his first 7 penalties were all rubbish. Can we stick to Southern hempishere refs for our own tournament please. No wonder league people can't follow union, when us union fellas can't.
Frenchy :D
Bloody beautiful i say
Back in it's rightful place!

I wouldnt say sensitive, just proud, and if you ever stand in front of a full maori haka you would understand, although sadly these are few and far between these days. Normally islanders that do it for the tourists
But i grew up in a country town with maori elders that cared and made the young guys stand in line and follow tradition. I wouldnt want to stand against them, well not without the 1860 english firearms in my hand.
Alfie Langer never cared in League and just laughed. lol. It is not intimating for me at all in sport maybe if I was goin to war. How many kiwis are here can't believe it. My wife is a kiwi and kids are half techniclly. lol. With regards to the other haka I agree with wallabies that it is not good for setting an example for kids about sportsmanship. If Aussies stood up and pretended to slight there throats there would be the biggest up roar.
Just my 2 cents no harm intended.
Cheers Paul.
i love the kiwis when the world cup comes up again they will choke as usual they must really hurt the biggest cup in the world and choke when it really counts. hehehe
cheers mick( all in fun guys)
It's not league, its tradition, and its just rivalry. No kiwi is against the Aussies and I hope not the other way. I think sometimes we all forget what the NZ in ANZAC stands for.
As for bad examples, no offence to anyone, but few of the headline crimes are committed by Australian or New Zealand people, and I don't mean by there parents citizenship.
I read the newspaper the other day and the headline was "Aussie dies fighting for Israel" now if it was me or my family I would be some what offended, he was born in Israel and went home to fight for his home land, a more than honorable thing to do, I know all of us that could would fight for our homeland, so why was it made out by the media that he died fighting for a foreign country, he died fighting for his people and his homeland.
Just need to put things into perspective I think.
Yep gummy couldn't agree more, I know they are proud. It was tounge in cheek. Me as a NZ white respect the maori heritage, they are the only indigenous race not to be defeated I believe. The school I went to was "multi cultural". 8)
I was only good enough to be a 1st XV reserve. 9 white boys in the whole squad of 22  They are very proud bunch, I remember{sort of  } getting stiff armed, one fella picked me up, {bloody nice bloke too, well my mum did work with his mum  } Asked which one hit me. "# 3" When a scrum went to pack a few minutes later #3 was out cold some 15 metres away, an unknown incident from the previous ruck.
Thats alright Mick, it is a bit of a joke how the AB's go at World Cup time, but then again Aussie dosen't have the cup either. Anyone but those whingeing poms :x
As for not a good example, what about rucking, I don't see kids at school stomping on each other because they saw it on a footy field. I believe this sort of dribble to be rubbish. It's alright for kids to see body bags or human remains, or screaming kids on the news  Reality Check please.
Paul as stated the Aussies poked fun at the usual haka. The new haka was done to prove a point. The add offended people, not me, but to alot of the native NZers it did. Maybe the Wallibies can play the didgeridoo, or do party tricks with boomerangs before kick off.
Look at the Samoan haka/dance... they motion spearing the oppostion repeatively yet how many complaints has that got {none}& that one has been going for years. Reality check please
As for the haka not being scarey,{I think its entertaining} there have been documented cases in war... eg; WWI, when the turks thought they were fighting cannibals & ran away
Yes plenty of Kiwis here, someone has to do the work around here  Am I here for the climate, I hate the cold. I am proud of being a kiwi, I would say Kiwis to union is like QLd is to state of origin.
I did see something funny on the NZ news while on the topic. 9 families were flown out on Lebanon, to Perth then to NZ. But get this, a whole 6 more families were yet to leave. WOW a whole 15 families 8O compared to how many that have come to Aussie :?:
ps; I can't believe that Connoly smirked in the press conference, when asked about his teams little training drill before kick off. I do believe him to be a great coach. But his little off field antics will only fire up the opposition & in a contact sport to, seems bizarre to me. Then again he isn't taking the hits
Frenchy :D
Funny subject this. The difference between watching the footy and seeing body bags and crying kids on the news is parents let their kids watch footy but shouldn't really let kids watch news or violent movies. But seriously I dont particularly care about the issue just that sportsmen are major role modles for kids now and the codes generally want their players to promote good behavour and show respect.( look what happpened to wendall.lol). Grummandi said himself in defending the new Haka why it is bad because it shows that they have no respect for there opposition which will be their downfall no doubt. You must always respect your opponents or you will be beaten eventually. I think more kiwis would have been upset at it than Aussies because they are NZ role models not Aussies. My wife thought it was crazy.
Anyway kiwis can do what they want I am sure Aussies will just get up and keep playing.
Cheers Paul
Stupid F#$ken game!!!!!
now we gott put up with all the loud mouth kiwis bragging (not metioning any names ) Cough Cought Justin Cough
