Title: internal power filter recommendations
Post by: plokijuhygtfr on July 30, 2006, 04:20:57 PM
i have a 800 lt tank which i use as a grow out tank
it normal runs with 2 sponge filters ,which provide the bio
but i need one or two internal power filters to pick up supended particles
i guess the rated flows are as the manufactures state so any recommendations for longlivity and easy to clean

thanks for any help -dave

Well dave
You could add 2 power heads to the top of ya sponge filters
That will boost ya water movement
and speed ya filtracion

I have found the Otto internals to be great.  I'd have about 10 of them. Very reliable and do a great job.  They are a reasonable price at AOA.

I would recommend any of the Otto's. Good design and cheap to run. Two 800L/hr models at either end would do the trick.
