Title: My New Tank
Post by: Tabbycat on September 10, 2006, 02:04:09 PM
Had to show you all my new tank. It is not fully set up yet just gonna run it for a week and let it clear up b4 I put any of my fish in it. It is a 6x2x2. I am going from a 3 1/2 foot to this monster lol. Savageroo and my partner David got it upstairs with a little help from me and roo's other half and some planks of wood  :?  8O . Roo managed to spray my wall with blood when he cut his finger in a nail but we could do nothing at the time as we were halfway up and there was no stopping lol. (Was only a little cut he is fine) Anyway here is the link to my webshots album if you wanna look.

Very nice. I went from a 3" to a 4" and loved the extra options that gave me, what stuff are you going with now you've got twice the size tank?

It is funny you know I got my tank about 18 months ago and said i was only going to have guppies. That is what i started out with along with  my 2 big clowns and my pearl Gourami (she has had 2 boyfriends that have died) and a couple of b/n's both passed on. I don't remember when I went from Guppies to Africans lmao. Can't even tell you were or when I got my yellows lmao all I do know is they are bloody big guppies PMSL

I wish it would if been as easy as that lmao. We did the stand we got from u with the tank up. Went out and got the filter and the stand was 6 inches to low lmao. So hubby had to build a new one. The one we got from you now has 4 new legs and that crack that was in it turned out to be water rot right down through the leg lmao. Oh well. so anyway we are gonna put the other stand back together now and sell i. There is nothign wrong with it now it is all fixed up

Well caue of the water restrictions I could not hose out the gravel  :? it would of taken to much water to clean 50kg of the stuff. Also we used rain water for 2/3 of it that was collected in buckets. It looks green cause the lounge walls are painted green  :? (No I didn't do it were like it when we bought the place). Also I had just put duckweed in the tank b4 I took the pic so that is swirling around in it

Ok fish are all in the new tank. I figured 5 days was long enough and well the simple thing is they were over crowded in the other tank and not looking 100% the past couple of days. They are all staring to colour up really well and look so much happier right now. While we were fishing out all the fish I found I still have 2 koolie loaches lmao. I have not seen them in months and months. They are the size of my little finger and so fat lmao.

New Pic's of the fish in the tank are in my New Tank album if you wanna have a look. Not every one wanted their pic taken lol
