Title: Quick heads up for Ipswich fishkeepers
Post by: nemo1981 on September 27, 2006, 03:43:00 PM
Between 1pm Saturday 30th September and 11am Sunday 1st October council are working on the main water infrastructure which supplies Ipswich.

This may result in reduced supply, but more importantly for us fishkeepers, dirty water.
So just common advice, hold off the water changes for the weekend to be safe. ;)

i remember about 3 years ago they did that and must have used a chemical cause we lost fish at the shop i was working at and my marine tank crashed cause i did a water change   .
might be worth using some carbon in ppls tanks to get rid of any chemicals that might stay around
