Hey! Quality pics and nice fish.  :D

What camera did you use? Any tips for the budding photographers on this forum (like me who goes insane trying to get decent pics of my P. saulosi !)

Thanks for the kind comments.

Pics were taken with a Panasonic Lumix FZ30 (8mp). The key, I have found, with taking fish shots is patience and lots of pics. Digital cameras have really spoilt us in that we can keep taking pics until we get the ones we like!!
After a while you'll work out what settings/lighting work for you.

Cheers

Nice fish....very high quality stock!

Where did you get them?

Thanks Rod,
They're a new (to Oz) german bloodline that came in through an importer down south. Good thing is they're an allowable import! Dont see them too often, I picked up my last colony 12years ago and havent seen them very often since then (though I did sell off lots of fry in Sydney, Melbourne and Newcastle   ). Unfortunately I had to sell of my good pair, and the last of my original stock (8years solid breeding from them), 2 years ago. When these ones became available I HAD to get them.. lol.
They are very aggressive when they pair off which may be why there are so few around.

Cheers
Steve
