Title: Frontosa Question
Post by: Callyman on October 18, 2006, 02:03:10 PM
Hi all

Can anybody tell me If it ok to place a  Juvie Frontosa in a 5 foot display tank that has 6 Peacocks, 2 clown loaches, 2 BN, Lithobate, venustus, Pindani and a large red tail shark. 4 of the peacocks are male Juvies themselves.

I have read so many different opinions on the web  8O and I prefere to trust the advice on here.

Thanks for the help.

Title: fronnies

my first lot of fronnies i raised with lithobates  kadangas and elec yellows and had no problems. BUT size is important if the peacocks are fully grown  or much larger than the fronnies this may cause a problem. I personally have always found young fronnies do best with fish slightly smaller or much the same size as themselves.Im currently growing out moori and kingsizei with some juve fronnies.   the loaches and b/n will not cause any probs  but the shark can and the cichlids may too.
