Title: Name these fish
Post by: Splash on November 25, 2006, 08:26:29 PM
Hello,

We recently set up our first cichlid tank.  It's going well except I don't know the names of two of the fish, I forgot as soon as I got home from the aquarium.

Here are pics of them:

Can anyone help indentify these two?

Thanks

First shot def. a Victorian, H.brownae or maybe X.phytophagus it's hard to say as these "Flamebacks' go as so many different names.

Second one is def a Peacock species, looks a little strange to be honest, I wouldnt say its a cross tho, there are a few peeps on here that LOVE their peacocks so I'm sure they will be able to help, my guess would be A. 'blue neon'
