Title: NLS Cichlid Formula
Post by: Benji on December 19, 2006, 08:32:25 AM
I've read on this site that some people swear by this stuff, so i guess it's good food?

How do the bigger fish (say 10cm and over) go with it, since the pellets are 1mm in size??  would the pellets be too small or do the full grown fish still love it??

thanks

You can get this food in larger pellets - however I have thousands of fish here - all of which (with few exceptions) are fed on the small pellets.
They love it !!!- I swear by it !!!!- and would not use anything else .... it seems to bring out the best colour in fish - it has just the right amount of protein even for tropheus - and all my fish thrive on it !!!!
Go for it !!!

I recently bought a small container of the cichlid formula to test out.  While I can't say that I saw great improvement in the colouring of my fish, I will say that the fish devoured it like it was the best thing since sliced bread!  Its good to see a food get gobbled up without a pellet going to waste.  I will more than likely be buying a big bucket of the small pellets when I can afford it  :D   The fish I fed it to, range from 3-4cm up to @10cm, and they all loved it.
